8.00 am – Departure from your Rome hotel we will drive approximately 2 hours to Siena, you will have free time to walk in the main street and a stop in the Piazza del Campo square to take your pictures.
The cathedral which dominates the skyline is one of the most beautiful in Italy, We then continue our drive 45 minutes to San Gimignano.
San Gimignano was the Manhattan of the 13th century with its seventy two towers, today only fourteen are left.
You will have free time to explore this little town, You will find yourself out of the crowds in peaceful surroundings and looking over breathtaking scenery with sunflowers and red poppies. Lunch is at your leisure or if you like I can arrange on your behalf a light lunch and wine tasting in a Local farm winery (You will personally pay the wine and lunch) after lunch we head towards your Florence Hotel. 4.00/4.30pm end of service.
