day 1 – arrival to Milan Mxp Airport, meet & greet with our tour escort who will assist the group all over the itinerary. Transfer by coach to the assigned hotel.
We planned a welcome dinner for our guests in one of the good restaurants of the city centre, the bus will be at disposal for the transfers. Overnight at 4* hotel of the city centre.
According to Your flight schedules, other activities / visits might be foreseen on this first day.

day 2 – breakfast at the hotel and departure from Milan with destination Asti. The renewed Langhe area is one of the most famous in Italy for the fragrant truffles, good wines and breath-taking landscapes. The first stop is planned at Casalbeltrame, famous for the production of Venere rice (black / red and white), Gorgonzola cheese and wines.
Wine and local products tasting at La Poderia. We will continue our visit reaching the historical cellars of Gancia Spumante – sparkling italian wine – Here, the staff Gancia will wait for us and will escort the group through the visit of the underground cellars explaining the entire production cycle. Continue to Asti, check in at the hotel and dinner. Overnight.

day 3 – breakfast at the hotel. Today we will discover Modena and its unique production of Lambrusco wine. The hills around Modena are studded with wine-farms and today we will visit one of the greatest in the region: Cantina Barbolini. We will discover the Lambrusco di Sorbara D.o.c. di Bellerofonte, the organic wine Lambrusco di Grasparossa di Castelvetro d.o.c Biorosa and Morano wine. Visit to the estate and the cellars followed by a wine tasting. Independent lunch. Continue to Modena city centre, check in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.

day 4 – breakfast at the hotel and we leave Modena with destination Tuscany. A stop on the way to Florence is a must.. time at disposal for your own visit and independent lunch in one of the restaurants of the city centre (we can suggest some good places) After lunch, departure to San Gimignano that’s one of the most perfectly preserved Medieval town in Italy. Check in at the hotel, dinner and overnight,

day 5 – after breakfast, we leave the hotel to discover one of the most reputed wines of Italy: Chianti d.o.c. Our first stop will be Vicchiomaggio castle located in Greve in Chianti, the heart of Chiantishire. Visit of the castle, the vineyards and the cellars. Wine tasting going with some little snacks. Our trip continues to Badia Coltibuono, stop for a delightful lunch and visit of their vineyards, the cellars and tasting of their wine production. Back to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

day 6 – breakfast at the hotel and we leave San Gimignano to discover Montalcino, a small village surrounded by hills and producing another superbe wine: the Brunello di Montalcino red wine. Here you will have some time at disposal for yr own visits of the narrow and flavoured streets, for some wine tasting and shopping. Independent lunch before continuing our trip to the southern Tuscany. With a short driver we will reach Montepulciano. Here, one of the most ancient cellars will host us for another wine tasting of their principal brands and the famous Nobile wine. Hotel accommodation in one of the cosy hotels of Montepulciano, dinner and overnight.

day 7 – Driving from Tuscany to Latium region, down to Rome, we cannot miss Orvieto that’s part of another productive regions of Italy, speaking about wines: Umbria region. Orvieto is located on an hill-top, reachable by a funicular, and offers many wine variety and a selection of good restaurants for lunch (we can suggest some good places) Independent lunch and continue to Rome. Short orientation tour of the city centre by bus before reaching the hotel, check-in and dinner at the hotel / nearby restaurant. Hotel overnight.

day 8 – breakfast at the hotel before meeting our tour escort again. Transfer to the Airport of Rome Fiumicino as per your scheduled
